COACHING

Coaching - What can it offer you?

  1. Coaching is all about you. It is a development approach that is designed to raise your awareness of different perspectives and ways of doing things.

  2. It is a one to one structured conversation that is based on asking rather than telling.

  3. It will enhance your ability to take responsibility for your own performance and development.

  4. It focuses on specific issues or goals to help you work answers out for yourself by creating a space for deep thought and reflection.

  5. It is not just about what is happening externally, but working with things that ‘get in the way’ for example self-confidence, doubt, or a busy mind so you can be your most successful and authentic self.

  • Career change or progression

  • Leadership development

  • Preparing and supporting people through change

  • Creating a better work/life balance

  • Managing your emotional responses

  • Developing line management skills and relationships

What is the process?

  1. Chemistry chat – opportunity to find out a bit more and decide if coaching is right for you.

  2. Contracting – this is all about how we will work together. We will draw up an agreement which will cover confidentiality, ethics, goals, length, and frequency of the session.

  3. Coaching session – I will explore with you what you would like to achieve in each session. This would typically last 60 to 90 minutes with six sessions being about average, however sessions can be one off or over a longer period of time.

  4. Actions at the end of each session for you to work on.

  5. Interim review, feedback, and evaluation.

  6. Support materials and use of psychometric tools as required.
